Weatronic-USA,
My name is Anthony Fandino and I am an IMAC competition pilot, and I fly a forty percent Carden extra 330. Flying such large airplanes puts a large demand on the crafts power distribution and radio system. In the past to cope with all the demand for redundancy and power one would have two invest in a power distribution system, Match boxes for servo matching and even sometimes doubling that to have two receivers. Now my dream has come true, The Weatronics receiver and power management system.
This unit really has impressed me with some well thought out engineering. The unit incorporates two DDS Diversity Double Superhet Synthesizer receivers, six independent regulators in charge of servo- (4) and receiver- (2) power, a battery management system, servo matching on all outputs, RFI noise suppression, and a data recorder. Not till now have we ever had such a system within our grasp. Safety is the number one consideration when selecting the components for my aircraft and after looking at all my options for my flight system I have selected the Weatronics DR's for my aircraft for 2008 and into the foreseeable future. I believe in the product and love all the redundancy that is built into this unit not to mention some really cool features. Thanks for making such a great product that really enhances safety and performance of our radio systems.
