12 channels – sequencer – for free!!

Dear Weatronic Customers,
in addition to the 12 channel-software, we integrated an additional feature for all Dual Receivers.
Without additional hardware -

You can program sequencer-functions.

Example: landing gear with seperately activated gear doors. Let us assume that your Scale Model or your model has a retractable landing gear with one valve for the landing gear and another valve for the landing gear doors. The landing gear doors are closed in both positions of the landing gear. The landing gear doors have to be open while the landing gear operates.

Choose a switch channel in your transmitter which you would like to use to retract and deploy your undercarriage.

• Choose the ‘slow function’ for a switch channel of your choice of your transmitter. For this procedure you should use an appropriate time – for instance 4 seconds.
• In the configurations menu of your Dual Receiver (Servokonfiguration/Servo settings), you should combine two exits with the chosen channel, one for the servo respectively the magnetic valve which opens and/or closes the doors, and one to retract or deploy the undercarriage.

This window shows the choice of channel and exits. Channel 7 is responsible for the undercarriage sequencing in this example. The exit for the landing gear is number 5, the landing gear doors (servo respectively valve) is on the output 6.

Configure the servo exits as shown in the following screnshots.

The landing gear doors are at both ends of the travel at 0% (closed position). During the 4 seconds of sequencing, the doors open and close again. During the open time at 100% the landing gear has to be operated.

The landing gear retracts and extracts around the middle of the sequence. The x-axis represents the time. The distance from the left to the right is 4 seconds in this example (in the transmitter for the slow-function feature).

While reversing the whole procedure works vice versa. You will find the new firmware in the version 1.4.4 under Downloads/software. If you are not registered yet, you can do it there. We will provide you with the latest information via email.
